MATERIALS
Constructed from laser-cut 8mm, 10mm and 12mm steel, the Terraton 200 is built to last several lifetimes. Due to the high thermal mass of the heavy duty materials, the pit is able to maintain very stable temperatures compared to pits made of thinner metal.
The smoker is weatherproofed with a polymerised linseed oil coating, which will not flake and degrade over time like paint. The rust-proof coating can be maintained indefinitely with a light coat of oil as needed. Bolts, washers and other hardware components are made from stainless steel to further ensure the longevity of the pit.
MATERIA: SUPERIOR FIRE MANAGEMENT
The optional Materia fire management basket further simplifies the process of maintaining a steady wood fire, helping wood burn cleanly with minimal smouldering.
Constructed entirely from laser-cut 10mm thick steel plate, it delivers durability far beyond typical standards.
The bottom grate is removable for easy ash clean up without having to remove the entire fire basket.
